Recognition

Partner Jamie Gorelick was named among DC’s Most Influential People Shaping Policy by Washingtonian Magazine. The exclusive list is comprised of 500 top thought leaders, innovators and authoritative voices that are shaping public policy and changing the world we live in. Gorelick is one of only 17 honorees in the Legal Intelligentsia category, which celebrates the “legal minds who put their brainpower behind helping our government work better," according to the publication.

Gorelick, who chairs the firm’s Regulatory and Government Affairs Department, has diverse experience in both the public and private sectors—combined with experience in the corporate boardroom and in the international arena—enabling her to assist organizations operating in competitive and complex markets. She regularly helps companies address crises that involve all branches of government as well as reputational concerns.

As one of Washington's best-known litigators, Gorelick has represented corporations and individuals in a wide array of matters, particularly in the regulatory and enforcement arenas, involving issues as diverse as antitrust, environmental regulation, securities enforcement, national security regulation, etc. Gorelick is among our leaders in congressional investigations, and has helped many institutions address issues relating to gender and race and is sought as a counselor on climate issues.
